Our favorite fabrics are light, airy sheers with timeless patterns as in this elegant sheer fabric embroidered with gold and silver threads. Contemporary sheer fabrics have a soft elusive design and do not overwhelm a room as heavier fabrics of traditional drapery design. We used a traditional swag and jabot drapery style and used a band of shimmering gold silk fabric to highlight the gold embroidery! The fabrics accent the paint color beautifully.

Custom Area Rugs

This traditional Farmhouse inspired home in Great Falls, VA has a selection of exquisite traditional, eclectic furnishings.  Walls throughout are painted pale yellow and the homeowner needed area carpets to protect the wood floors.  Golden Interiors designed custom area rugs that worked with the furnishings and the style of the home.  The Living Room area carpet field is a transitional patterned broadloom carpet double bordered with Fabrica plush velvet solids, beige outside border and a light cream inset border.
